Asked about winning the elusive crown, Sachin said: 'It was worth the wait all these years. They were happy tears and you are right I could not control them.
'I want to thank my teammates as without them, nothing would have happened.'
'I especially want to thank the support staff. Mike Horn (motivational speaker), who has helped us cope with the expectations and pressure. The team stuck together in the rough phases and proved people who doubted our ability wrong.
